About
Tiger Britt
I am an upcoming Game Design graduate at the University of Central Florida, with an academic background that includes over 100 credits in Electrical Engineering. I have always been drawn to systems thinking, problem-solving, and inventive design, which naturally led me toward game development. I enjoy horror, platforming, and strategy games because they challenge both player skill and creative technical design.
I have been engaged with video games since childhood. My first game was Donkey Kong 64, and my personal favorite is Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented. Although these two games have very different tones, they both influenced the way I think about game design and AI behavior.
Donkey Kong 64 impressed me with its simple but expressive AI. The characters and enemies feel lively, reactive, and full of personality. In contrast, Fatal Frame 3 features AI that is strongly connected to its atmosphere and storytelling. The ghosts move in ways that are subtle and unsettling, and their behavior is woven into the emotional experience of the game.
Together, these influences shaped my interest in designing enemy AI that is mechanically engaging and emotionally meaningful. I am interested in AI systems that do more than function. I want to create AI that helps define the identity of a game. Whether through charm, tension, or personality, I aim to design AI that feels integrated with the world and enhances the player experience on multiple levels.
Today, I am driven by the belief that great design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.
